Co-President
Garance Danvin
Garance is a U3 student majoring in Mathematics and pursuing a concentration in Finance. She is curious on how mathematical theories could be applied in trading. She also enjoys swimming and passing time with friends.
Sebastian Carthy
Co-President
Sebastian is a U2 student in the faculty of management. He is a Co-President and got involved with the MSTS to help provide resources for other students interested in learning more about finance.
Alicia Bermejo Jago
Senior VP Communications
Alicia is a U3 student majoring in Economics and doing a double minor in Political science and Psychology. She is is interested by many areas in Finance, specially socially responsible investments. She enjoys dancing, learning new languages and is involved in refugee resettlement at McGill
Emma Hirsch
Senior VP External
Emma is a U2 student majoring in Finance. She has a strong interest in Fintech and blockchain, and their capabilities in all areas of finance. She also enjoys DJing and watching movies with friends.
Engueran Turmel-Josek
VP Finance
Engueran is a U2 student majoring in Investment Management. He has a strong interest in coding and algorithmic trading. He enjoys playing soccer and volleyball, as well as eating lots of food.
Alex Gorakine
VP Marketing
Alex is a U2 student majoring in Mathematics along with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Computer Science. Alex is interested in learning more about the application of financial mathematics in trading and likes to spend his free time swimming, reading, and hiking.
Sasha Juriansz
VP Communications
Sasha is a U2 student pursuing a joint degree in Economics and Finance, with a minor in Philosophy. She values this opportunity with MSTS to learn about financial decisions, prepare for her career, and recognize key components of personal finance. In her free time, Sasha enjoys exploring the outdoors and loves watching movies.
Basile Drouilly

Basile is a U3 student enrolled in the Joint Honors program in Economics and Finance. He is responsible for managing sponsor relations and overseeing the trading competitions. Basile is passionate about economic theories and their applications in trading and finance. He loves traveling and discovering new places around the world.
Mateja Lubura
VP Internal
Mateja is a 3rd year finance student minoring in computer science. He is interested in quant finance and algorithmic trading and loves the support the MSTS provides in developing skills and connection in these fields. He has played basketball all his life and is a die hard Dallas Mavericks fan.
